Abstract

(…) in the present paper we should like to examine with the naked eye the anatomical structure of the brain of the Chinese finless porpoise. The specimens were prepared in frontal and parasagittal sections and subsequently photographed. The tables show details of brain measurements, and in addition the brain weight – body weight ratios provide an estimate of the degree of cephalization as compared with other odonticetes. (…)
